A stained, slick concrete path replaced with natural flagstone set in mortar — better grip, better drainage, better first impression.

The problem
The narrow concrete walk between two walls was stained, slick when wet and the first thing guests saw coming to the door. Tearing it out in a tight corridor meant hand work, not machines.
What we did
- Broke out and hauled off the old concrete by hand
- Prepped and leveled the base through the full length of the corridor
- Dry-laid irregular flagstone to fit the width, cutting pieces to keep joints tight and even
- Set the stone in mortar and finished the joints so nothing shifts or ponds
How it turned out
A walkway that grips underfoot, sheds water and looks like it came with the house.
