The problem

The ground below the house was steep and uneven, with exposed soil, loose rock and patches of grass. The photos show the slope from the house and driveway down toward the lake.

What we did

Reshaped the hillside with excavation and grading
Set stacked stone retaining walls along the slope below the house
Spread gravel across the terrace behind the stone wall

How it turned out

The after photos show a defined stone wall, a gravel-covered terrace and reshaped ground along the wooded side of the property. All six photos document this one Diamond Bluffs job.
